HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HYDRANGEA

Sun Exposure	Morning sun / partial shade is suitable for many Hydrangeas; exact needs vary by type
Water Needs	Keep soil consistently moist, especially during hot or dry weather
Mulching	Organic mulch can help conserve soil moisture
Pruning	Light pruning to maintain shape
Soil Preference	Acidic (pH < 5.5) for Blue Color. Clay, Loam, Sand.
Soil Drainage	Moist but Well-Drained

Why are my Hydrangea leaves wilting?

Hydrangeas need consistent moisture. Wilting can occur when plants become too dry, particularly during heat or strong sun. Check soil moisture and watering conditions first.
Why did my blue Hydrangea turn pink?

For responsive Bigleaf Hydrangeas, flower color can shift with soil chemistry. More acidic conditions tend to support blue flowers, while more alkaline conditions favor pink.
When should I prune my Hydrangea?

The correct timing depends on the type. Bigleaf Hydrangeas generally flower on old wood and should be pruned soon after flowering, while new-wood types have different pruning windows.
Can Hydrangea grow in full sun?

It depends on the type and climate. Many Hydrangeas prefer partial shade, while some types, such as panicle Hydrangea, tolerate or prefer more sun.

Customer Reviews

The plant arrived promptly. It shows many signs of meticulous care including careful pruning and staking; and its health is highlighted by vigorous new growth.

It is absolutely not 30" tall let alone 36"; but it may be 26" inches tall in a few places, measuring from the bottom of the pot. It is, however, well branched and it spreads out more than twelve inches in each direction. I think it has better indoor plant presence for its good horizontal development than if it were a taller whip. Very pleased.

Gratitude

The plant showed up in good condition...thanks

Good

Pink not as bright as the picture yet but plant is healthy. It appears however slightly travel stressed from traveling via mail from California to Illinois. I set it for now in indirect sunlight and gave it a tiny bit if distilled water. After 10 days I will repot in a pot the next size larger in succulent soil. I think it will be fine.
